Practice:

I currently work with a variety of people, from children to older people looking to retain mobility. I see people with a spectrum of needs and requests, from those seeking help with limitations such as muscular pain or injury through to dancers and musicians wanting to improve their performance. I regularly guest lecture at Trinity Laban Conseratoire for Music and Dance, London College of Music and several universities.

Biography:

I had the opportunity to study Feldenkrais while training in Dance Theatre and instantly got hooked. Those first classes set something right with me; I felt more at home in myself and experienced a striking improvement in my dancing. I was excited to discover a method of working through movement which is grounded in what I feel is a profoundly respectful and intelligent philosophy.

I grew increasingly keen to know more about Feldenkrais and to be able to share the benefits I was experiencing from it. I decided to train as a practitioner and attended the Amsterdam International Feldenkrais Teacher Training. I graduated in 2008 and remain committed to continuing my professional development.

In addition, I have taught dance and developmental gymnastics in schools, colleges, play schemes and specialist centres with children and adults. I have a particular interest in working with children with developmental and learning difficulties.

As a member of the Feldenkrais Guild UK, I am fully insured and recognised to teach in the UK. I welcome the opportunity to work with each individual coming to my practise.
